Not a fan of flurries unless they come with candy

Any season but winter is not my jam. Don’t get me wrong I think snow is very pretty and I can appreciate how it hugs the ground like a chilly little blanket but I do not do well with being cold. If I’m cold I feel like my entire skeletal system is frozen. It does not help that I have horrible circulation

I like spring because I love the rain. I love watching a good storm, hearing it hit the roof. The earth coming out of it’s dead slumber and growing green grass and flowers again. I get to start planning out my garden.

I like summer because I can handle the heat so much better than the cold. Even if I’m sweating like crazy it’s nicer than feeling like I’m freezing. Summer is when the kids and I can get the opportunity to go and enjoy all sorts of activities. We get to harvest all the vegetables we’ve been laboring over

I like the fall because it’s still warm and all the leaves are changing. Don’t forget about Halloween either. We have more bonfires and get the last bit of grilling out of our system before old man Winter comes back around.

I live in Ohio so sometimes I get to have all four seasons in the same week 😛

Dirty hands

Last weekend of April already…this month has flown by it seems like. I’m hoping the warmer weather we’re having is the sign that spring is here to stay. With spring impending it’s the time of year to get your hands dirty. I like to open up all my windows, do some deep cleaning in the house. Get outdoors and plant flowers and a garden full of veggies.

This year we’re expanding our garden. Adding more tomato and pepper plants. We’re thinking about adding other vegetables as well. Last year I planted some Gerber Daises in our front flower bed and they are starting to grow. What kind of plants do like to grow? Do you like to spring clean or hate it?
